An experienced trial attorney and lifelong resident of New York. Over the course of his career, he has handled hundreds of cases throughout the City of New York and surrounding counties, including over forty trials, achieving favorable results on behalf of many of his clients.
In addition to his Juris Doctorate, Mr. Movasseghi earned a Master’s Degree from the Rockefeller College of Public Affairs and Policy, a national leader in public affairs education that is among the top public affairs schools in the country.
Before entering private practice, Mr. Movasseghi served the people of the City of New York prosecuting cases of Child Abuse and Neglect. He is also a member of an 18-b Assigned Counsel Panel through which he represents low-income litigants in Family Court.
Mr. Movasseghi is active in many civic and cultural organizations. He has volunteered his time as an attorney representing battered women seeking protection and freedom from their abusive partners, and on multiple projects with the City Bar Justice Center, which provides free legal assistance to low- and moderate-income New Yorkers.
